Our Mission

Saint Andrew Youth Formation seeks to accompany young people into relationship with Jesus Christ and form them for a life of missionary discipleship through community, sacrament, scripture, and prayer.

Our Mindset

We walk alongside families, accompanying their young people into relationship with Jesus Christ and active participation in the life and mission of the Church. We offer support and formation to foster the personal and spiritual growth of each young person. Through community life, we create a place for young people to be known, to be loved, and to belong.

The opportunities we provide are out of service to families and their young people. We are here to walk alongside you as together we form disciples who are fully alive and on mission with Christ.

Friday Night Live

On the third Friday of each month (with some exceptions; see the calendar) between 7:00 - 9:00 PM, all youth grades 5 - 8 are invited to attend a night of pizza and fun at St. Andrew Church. Games will vary, but may include sports in the gym (basketball, football, etc), laser tag, video games, card games or general group games. Pizza and pop will be served during the event. The evening concludes with a short reflection and prayer. See the current schedule above for dates. The event is FREE and no RSVP is required.

Youth Core Team

The Youth Core Team is an opportunity for high school teens and adults who have a passion for our Catholic faith. This is perfect for teens who are looking forward to or have recently completed the sacrament of Confirmation. We strive to learn, grow and experience our faith together and to share our faith with others pointing them to Jesus Christ.

The core team gathers once a month to pray and have fun together. We invite the Holy Spirit to be more active in our lives, strive to understand the gifts of the Holy Spirit and identify which gifts each of us possesses. We then practice using our gifts to build the kingdom of God. For more information, email Kent Yoder at kenty@saint-andrew.net.
