Why should I use Formed? For example, as we seek to journey in our faith you might find it helpful to have others journey with you, to learn from their shared stories, allowing them to help us connect and deepen our faith. One good example is the process of praying with Scripture, this is called Lectio, a latin word for reading, yet to do it with the open heart we invite God to speak to us. See this short video, click on the LECTIO image for more information as a sample of the resources on the Formed service.
Lectio Divina - is a traditional monastic practice of scriptural reading, meditation and prayer intended to promote communion with God and to increase the knowledge of God's word. Knowing The Faith - The Symbolon program will lead your through the “big picture” of the Catholic faith, and the Creed will be your guide. Living The Faith - In the Symbolon program you will turn your attention to how we encounter God in the sacraments and the moral life. Through the sacraments, Christ’s work of salvation is communicated to our lives. Watch, listen and read. Anywhere, anytime.
