Stewardship is the grateful response of a Christian heart to all the gifts and graces received from God. As disciples of Jesus, we build the Kingdom of God by sharing our gifts of time, talent, and treasure with those around us. This is not simply a nice thing to do, but essential for the salvation of our souls:
[T]he king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.’...‘Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.’ – Matthew 25:40, 45
You will find many opportunities to share your gifts in love of God and neighbor at Saint Andrew. Of course, you can always give financially to support our church and school, but we also have many important ministries and volunteer and leadership opportunities in the parish that need dedicated people like you.
Please note that all parish staff and all volunteers working among children and vulnerable adults are required to complete and submit Safe Environment training and a Criminal Background Check Release Form. Find more detail on Safe Environment requirements here.
