Description of the position: Saint Andrew Catholic School’s childcare program, Tackle Box, provides before- and after-school care for enrolled students. Children are offered a variety of supervised activities including crafts, board games, free time, reading, study time and athletics. We are in need of a Tacklebox Lead to work Tuesday and Thursday afternoons (2:30 – 5:30 pm) on school days. This person must be 18 years old and enjoy working with elementary-age children. Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Maintain a professional attitude and be a positive role model for children
- Help in maintaining neat and organized learning and play areas
- Mature individual who relates well to children and their families
- Ability to develop rapport with children, parents, and co-workers
- Strong management skills with groups of children
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to conform to an established work schedule
Employment Type: Part-time
Compensation: $15.00 - $17.50/hr - this position qualifies for MN Paid Leave and MN Sick and Safe time
