Grand Raffle ticket packets for each household are available now in the Gathering Space. This year’s grand prize is $10,000 in cash. Please note that the ticket price is now $25 each. There are 5 tickets in each packet, so the total for the packet is $125.

The Ice Cream Food Truck will return this year. We are hoping to add another food truck. Stay tuned! Food trucks and our own food court will begin serving at 11:30 AM. Enjoy pulled pork sandwiches, brats with sauerkraut, fries, and chicken strips.

Our parish festival will have an Oktoberfest flair with the Elk River German Band performing from 1:00-4:00 PM.

In the beer garden, our local Knights of Columbus Council will be selling the beer.

The Silent Auction will return. You will be able to bid on items online. We need your donations. Theme baskets, event tickets, new items, gift cards and more can be dropped off at the parish office anytime during

business hours.

The Quilts and Crafts group has donated another beautiful quilt, “LuMa” for the Quilt Raffle. The quilt will be on display each weekend in the Gathering Space, along with the quilt raffle tickets, which are $5 each.

The children’s games  area will have many games to play and inflatables, including an obstacle course. There will be a teen gaming area. The Farmers Market  will make its return this year with your donations of produce and baked and canned items. We’ll also have Bingo and the ever-popular Cake Walk. Cake containers will be available in September for those who wish to donate a cake.

We need help on Saturday, September 20 with setting up the festival. On Sunday, September 21 we need help with the food court, beverage sales, children’s games, tear down, and a couple of other areas. You may sign up to volunteer  online , or call the parish office (763) 441-1483 during business hours.

Box City Event - September 27/28

Please consider helping increase awareness of the homelessness issue here and now in Elk River. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Andrew Elk River Conference, and the youth of our parish are hosting a Box City fundraiser on September 27, which asks participants to spend a night sleeping outside in a tent or cardboard box to raise funds to support the homeless, to financially support our mission of providing emergency assistance to help area residents in need, and to increase awareness about the issue of homelessness. Our Conference gives 100% of donations to those in need in the Elk River area. Please consider signing up to sleep in a tent/box the night of September 27. The cost is free but we ask all participants to solicit pledges from individuals and businesses who would like to donate for this worthy cause.

Come and join us for some fun! Spend the night with us enjoying pizza, listening to a short presentation by a Salvation Army representative, playing games, and sleeping in a tent or cardboard box. A continental breakfast is also provided Sunday morning.  Prizes will be awarded to the person acquiring the most donations, having the most unique tent/box, and one for the best decorated tent/box . The deadline for signing up is Sept 22. Contact Deacon Kent Yoder at 763-441-1483 for questions.
