Saint Andrew Catholic Church Events:

All Saturdays during Lent, February 17 through March 23, we will have a Soup and Sacrifice meal after 5:00 PM Mass. It is a time to gather with fellow parishioners over delicious homemade soups and desserts. Soup and Sacrifice is a free-will donation event. Funds will be given to CAER, the St. Andrew Conference of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and Saint Andrew youth service projects.

If you’re planning to attend and you’re willing to help, there are many opportunities for you to be part of it! Many crocks of soup, as well as desserts, will be needed for this annual event. Volunteers are also needed to help with set up and clean up. Visit our Volunteer Local site or call the parish office at 763-441-1483.

GriefShare Program features biblical, Christ-centered teaching that focuses on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one. The DVD seminar features nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories of people, followed by a small group discussion about what was viewed. Past participants have related how helpful the information and follow-up discussions were to them. Your bereavement experience may be recent or not so recent. You will find encouragement, comfort and help in grieving the death of a spouse, child, parent, sibling, other family member, or friend. No matter what the cause of your loved one’s death, this is an opportunity to be around people who understand what you are feeling. You will learn how to recognize the symptoms of being stuck in grief and that you do not need to live in bondage to certain emotions. You will learn valuable information about renewing your hope for the future.

GriefShare will be held Thursdays, February 22 – May 16 at 10:30 AM in Meeting Rooms 1 & 2. The cost is $15.00. (Scholarships are available.)

Any questions, contact Betsy Clark, R.N., Parish Nurse at [email protected] or 763-441-1483 x308. To register, call the Parish Office 763-441-1483 x308.
