Keys to Financial Well-Being for Your Aging Parents

Adult children know that their parents might be facing age-related financial challenges. Potential threats to their estate and assets due to future medical or long-term care needs are looming.
Do you want to help make secure everything they’ve worked a lifetime for? We can help you take compassionate and forward-thinking action.

Learn ways to guide your parents through planning steps to ensure they are prepared for potential financial emergencies brought on by medical or age-related conditions.

You are invited to an educational workshop on “Keys to Financial Well-being for Your Aging Parents”. This workshop is sponsored by Catholic United Financial and Member Advisor Kendra Turner. Join us in Meeting Rooms 1 & 2 Tuesday, August 6 after 6:00 PM Mass. To save your seat call 1-800-441-9949 or email workshops@catholicunited.org

GriefShare Program Begins August 22

This program features biblical, Christ-centered teaching that focuses on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one. The DVD seminar features nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories of people, followed by a small group discussion about what was viewed. Past participants have related how helpful the information and follow-up discussions were to them.

Your bereavement experience may be recent or not so recent. You will find encouragement, comfort and help in grieving the death of a spouse, child, parent, sibling, other family member, or friend. No matter what the cause of your loved one’s death, this is an opportunity to be around  people who understand what you are feeling. You will learn how to recognize the symptoms of being stuck in grief and that you do not need to live in bondage to certain emotions. You will learn valuable information about renewing your hope for the future.

GriefShare will be held Thursdays, August 22 – November 14 at 10:30 AM in Meeting Rooms 1 & 2.

Cost: $15.00 (Scholarships are available.)

Any questions, call Betsy at the Parish Office 763-441-1483 x308 or send an email.
To register, call the Parish Office 763-441-1483 x308 by August 15.

"Is the beast in the book of Revelation alive today?" And more!

The course includes lectures, a Revelation workbook and chart, and supplemental Catechetical Institute materials. The fee is $100.00, but Saint Andrew parishioners will have a $25 discount.

The class meets on Tuesday evenings (7:00-8:30 PM) from October 1 to November 26 at Saint Andrew. For more information and to register, visit semssp.org/ci or call 651-962-5072. Use code “Andrew” for a $25 discount. Registration deadline is September 22.
