Last weekend we celebrated the Fifteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time, featuring the gospel account of Jesus send the apostles out two by two to proclaim the Good News. In his first homily since his sabbatical, Fr. Mark shares how, when he heard the news of the Thai soccer team trapped in the cave, he prayed for their rescue and rejoiced that it was a success. He reminds us that everywhere, in every circumstance, there is always someone in need of deliverance or rescue. As Christians, we are also called to bring the Good News—the saving act of Jesus Christ—to the fallen world.
