Last weekend marked the Eleventh Sunday in Ordinary Time, in which we heard the parable of sower whose seeds yield their fruit and he knows not how, as well as the parable of the mustard seed, which is tiny but produces a great plant. It was also the 35th anniversary of Dcn. Fred's ordination, and his homilies focused the seeds and fruits of his vocation to the diaconate. He spoke of the role of deacon, preparation for ordination, and his own ministry in the parish over the years.
