Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry

The goal of the Youth Ministry at Saint Andrew is help young people recognize their call to be authentic disciples of Jesus and to help build the Kingdom of God here and now. We strive to build relationships with and among young people and offer activities that encourage young people to meet new people, strengthen their relationship with God, live as disciples of Jesus Christ and get involved in our parish and world-wide community. We engage in worship and prayer, discuss our faith and build community through service projects that advance the Kingdom of God and fun activities that build lasting relationships.

Parents, please note: All students in grades 6-12 who want to participate in Youth Ministry events including meetings must have their parents complete the Youth Ministry Parental Consent Form and Medical Matters Form and turn them to the adult leaders in before dropping them off for the event. These forms are specific to Youth Ministry, so your Faith Formation forms do not apply. (We hope to simplify this next year.)

CORE Team

If you are in high school or are an adult in the parish with a heart for youth, please consider committing to our Youth Ministry CORE Team. CORE Team will be the heart and center of Youth Ministry at Saint Andrew: a group of committed disciples focused on growing in their own relationship with Jesus through prayer, formation and service, and drawing other youth to Christ and His Church. For more information, email youthministry@saint-andrew.net.

SAINTS (Serving Anyone In Need Together Selflessly)

Participants in our SAINTS program come together to work and play while helping others.  Each year events are planned monthly around different social justice issues in our community. For more information, email saints@saint-andrew.net.
