On the weekend of December 7-8, 2019, we celebrated the Second Sunday in Advent. In the gospel, St. John the Baptist called the Jewish leader to show their repentance by bearing good fruit. Fr. Mark's homily emphasizes the urgency of the Baptist's call, then and now, and encourages us all to take advantage of the sacraments, especially Confession, to make our repentance grace-filled and fruitful.
