On the weekend of November 30-December 1, 2019, we celebrated the First Sunday in Advent and the new liturgical year. In the gospel, Jesus recalls the time of Noah: how the people were living life oblivious to God's will or God's plan, until Noah boarded the ark and the world was washed clean by the flood. Fr. Mark's homily reminds us that we must be mindful of God, ready for His coming, seeking Him and seeking souls to bring to Him. He challenges all parishioners to try to bring one person with us into the Catholic Church this year.
