On the weekend of October 5-6, 2019, the 27th Sunday in Ordinary Time, we hear Jesus tell His followers that if they had faith the size of a mustard seed, they could work miracles. In his final homily as our associate pastor, Fr. Rick reminds us that God cares that we are tired, that we are afraid, that we are impatient—nevertheless He asks us to trust and obey Him. He asks us to do all that we are called to do, understanding that the plan, and the hard work of conversion, is His and not ours.
