On the weekend of November 9-10, 2019, the 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time, Jesus confronts the Sadducees with the reality of the resurrection and the afterlife, insisting that God is the God of the living, "for to him, all are alive." Fr. Mark's homily reminds us that the life of the resurrected Christ is in us, through the sacraments. Even today, we are called to witness our faith by our lives...and sometimes by our deaths. As disciples, we must look for ways to witness to the world the great hope we have in Jesus, who has conquered death.
