Classes

Our faith formation offerings are clustered by grade level.

Pre-K and Kindergarten

Children's Liturgy of the Word serves as our faith formation offering for pre-K and kindergarten students. Children’s Liturgy of the Word is scheduled for the first and third Sundays each month during the 10:30 a.m. Mass. Children age 3 through fifth grade are dismissed to hear the readings and gospel message at a grade-appropriate level, then return to the church before Communion.

Grades 1-5

Classes for students in first through fifth grades are held on Wednesdays, 6:30-7:45 p.m., and are led by trained catechists. We use the Finding God series from Loyola Press.

Grades 9-11

Classes for students in ninth and 10th grade meet on opposite Wednesdays from the first- through eighth-grade programs, 6:30-7:45 p.m. We use the Chosen program from Ascension Press with these grade to help prepare them to receive the sacrament of Confirmation. Lifelong Learning

Faith Formation is an ongoing process that occurs throughout one's life. While much of formation involves the preparation for sacramental celebrations by the youth of the parish, we also offer opportunities for adults to rediscover the lessons learned long ago and to help their children during their sacramental preparation, as well as adult Bible Studies and other events to enrich our daily lives. For those wishing to explore the possibility of joining our Catholic faith community, there is the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA). Come explore, discover, develop and share your faith with us.
