Over the past few days we have been profiling each of the Totus Tuus team members coming to Saint Andrew this summer. Our final team member is Nathan Stracke!

Nathan is 19 years old and from Sartell, Minnesota. He studied a year at North Dakota State University before serving with Net Ministries this past year. His hobbies include Rubik's Cube, chess, biking and sports. He is excited about meeting new people through Totus Tuus this summer and about the impact God will have on youth through him and his teammates.

Like Vacation Bible School, Totus Tuus is fun, energetic and engaging for children of all ages, and includes games, skits, songs and more. In addition, Totus Tuus is solidly Catholic, teaching students about Jesus and the sacraments, Mary and the Church, prayer, the Bible and more. Totus Tuus (pronounced TOTE-us TOO-us) means Totally Yours and was the papal motto of Pope St. John Paul II, through which he entrusted himself entirely to the Blessed Virgin Mary, who leads us without fail to her son, Jesus.

When: June 24-29, 2018

Grades 1-6: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM

Grades 7-12: Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

The cost is $30 per student and includes a t-shirt ($90 family maximum).  Students in the daytime session will bring their own peanut-free snacks and sack lunches.

We will need teen volunteers to help the Totus Tuus team with the morning program. Those teens will be asked to register for and attend the teen program, which begins Sunday evening. We could also use a few adult volunteers for the daytime and evening programs.
