Eighty-six children and teens registered to attend last week’s Totus Tuus program—a great turnout for our first year with the program. Students enjoyed skits and songs, games and activities, daily Mass, Confession and Adoration, and more. The week culminated in shaving cream wiffle ball for the teens and a water fight for the kids---plus a special visit from the Elk River Fire Department, who showed the students the features of their awesome grass fire rig, then helped us all cool down the hottest day of the summer! Thank you, ERFD!
Special thanks to the Totus Tuus team—Emma Crane, Brandon Eich, Megan Sowada, and Nathan Stracke—for sharing their gifts and love of the faith with our young people. Thanks, as well, to our staff and volunteers who supported the program throughout the week: Randy Bayerl, Deb Crane, Alex Frischolz, Angie Hipsag, Lori Iannuzzelli, Cole Killeen, Kayle Nidever, Princess Pacheco, Samantha Rimmer, and Kent Yoder—as well as our sacristans, servers, and readers. Finally, thank you to Fr. Newton and Fr. Matthew Crane for sharing the gifts of their priesthood and the sacraments with everyone who participated. We are already looking forward to next year!

My daughter had such an incredible week! She took advantage of going to confession and loved the way mass was very involved for the kids. She couldn’t wait to share little tidbits of what she learned about God each day when I picked her up, and made some good friends too! Well done
