Pray the Stations of the Cross Each Friday of Lent

Saint Andrew Catholic Church and School invite you to pray the Stations of the Cross each Friday during the season of Lent. The Stations of the Cross is a traditional 14-step Catholic prayer meditating on the last hours of Jesus' life, His passion, crucifixion, death and burial. It invites worshippers of all ages into deeper reflection on the great sacrifice of love undertaken by the Son of God.

Praying the Stations takes approximately 30 minutes. Most Fridays we will pray the Stations of the Cross twice: in the afternoon with our Catholic school and again in the evening. Specific dates and times are as follows:

  • Friday, Feb. 16: 1:45 p.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Friday, Feb. 23: 1:45 p.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Friday, March 2: 6 p.m.
  • Friday, March 9: 6 p.m.
  • Friday, March 16: 1:45 p.m. and 6 p.m.
  • Friday, March 23: 1:45 p.m. and 6 p.m.

In addition, all Faith Formation students (grades 1-10) will pray the Stations together on Wednesday, March 7, at 6:30 p.m. Parents are encouraged to attend that evening, as well.

Please pray with us, and have a blessed and fruitful Lent.
