Message from Ms. Scipioni

Hi Parents,

I'm sorry about the delay in thanking you all so much for your prayers and support during my recent heart procedure. The surgeon felt as though it went better than expected, and I feel great!  I'm still a little short of breath, but I think it's from trying to do too much too soon. I really can't get over how much better I feel ... I know it is from you and your wonderful children upholding me in prayer. I am humbled and blessed by your love and support.

They had me scheduled for a four night stay in the hospital, but I went home after one night (again, prayer). I see the doctor this week and next, and if all continues to go well my restrictions will be lifted and I will begin rehab. I have family and friends staying with me, so I am being taken care of very well! I continue to trust in the plan God has for me, and remain positive about the future.

I opened the cards made by the kids after my heart procedure, and kept my cardiac nurses in tears and laughs! Each one was funnier or more meaningful than the one before. One of them thought that if I died God would probably make me principal of heaven! You know, friends, God already did make me principal of heaven when I started working at Saint Andrew. Thank you again for sharing your kids, your love and your lives with me. I have been blessed beyond words by you, by your kids, by my entire career in Catholic education, and most importantly by our good and gracious God who always brings us to good.

I'll continue to pray for you all, for our children, and for the great work done at Saint Andrew Catholic School.

Sue Scipioni

From the mother of the son who most likely started detention at St. Andrew’s back in the day;), please know how much we appreciate you and are praying for your full recovery. May God give you the strength you need one day at a time to heal and get back fully on your feet again.
I wasn’t surprised to read you may have done too much too soon because that is who you are. You are a go getter, you are always on the go, you are constantly changing people’s lives for the better, and you are always on a mission. ALL for the glory of our AMAZING Lord!
We were so blessed to have been attending St. Andrew’s School when you came on board. Thank you for all your love and support through the years. I always say not all angels have wings. Well, you are one of these angels on Earth that I am forever grateful to for all the patience and guidance you have given my children and for all the love that radiated from you each and every day as you walked into that school.
Prayers for a very special woman who will forever hold a very special place in my heart.
    Much love today and always.❤️
