Soup & 
Sacrifice is an opportunity to share a simple meal in fellowship with each other in spiritual solidarity with the poor and a call for almsgiving during the Lenten season. The Saint Andrew Mission Outreach Committee and other parishioners and groups host a simple meal of soup and bread after the 5 p.m. Mass each Saturday of Lent. Catholic social teaching instructs us to put the needs of the poor and vulnerable first. Those who attend are invited to donate what they would have spent on their evening meal as alms to support the ABBA Pregnancy Resource Center, CAER Food Shelf, and other priorities of the Saint Andrew Mission Outreach Committee.
Please join us for this wonderful opportunity for prayer, fasting and almsgiving, and enjoy a variety of homemade soups and artisan breads prepared and served by your fellow parishioners. Everyone is invited, and no RSVP is required.
